impovements by now

so its been about two months now and i've survived school so far.  ive improved in my school work and in art especially. throughout this year, many changes in my life have inspired my art. i feel that i've improved in the drawing part of art after i drew the self-portrait, since that was such an immense project and it actually turned out pretty good.  other than that, my skills haven't really changed, but hopefully they will soon! i understand shades and value scales much better now, so i can draw them more easily, which is good for my self-portait painting.  anyway, art is my favorite class still and hopefully i'll improve more as the year goes on so i can get as good as all the other students!
